***Please keep in mind that you are ONLY eligible for a passport renewal if you currently have the passport you would like to renew in your possession AND:

  • 1. The passport was VALID for 10 years, i.e., it was issued when you were aged 16 or older, AND
  • 2. The passport has been expired for LESS than five years currently

Once you place your order with us for a passport renewal, an instructional checklist that includes the forms you need to fill out will be sent to your email inbox for you to reference before you send in your documents to us.

And here is a detailed description of what you will need to do, to clarify step-by-step the above instructions:

To obtain an expedited passport renewal through Fastport Passport, you will have to send in to us:

  • The filled out and signed DS-82 form, aka the U.S. Passport Renewal Application
  • One copy of the Fastport Passport Authorization Letter
  • Two copies of new passport photos, which you can have taken at any local Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, or any store of that nature.
  • Your confirmation of international travel plans within 14 days (i.e., an airline itinerary, photocopy of the plane ticket in your name, hotel reservation (if staying in Canada or Mexico), OR a business letter that follows our business letter template. Proof of travel must include your name, date leaving the U.S., and destination country)
  • Your old passport.
  • A check made out to the U.S. Department of State for $170 for a renewed adult passport.

*Please be sure that your signatures on this document and all of your documents are consistent (i.e., they all look alike), and particularly that all signatures match the signature on your previous passport

Once you have gathered all of the above documents, You will then take all of them to your local FedEx location, and put all of the above items into a FedEx envelope and send it to our Coney Island Avenue location via FedEx Priority Overnight shipping. NOTE: Do NOT send via First Overnight, as the package will arrive to our store before opening hours and there will be no one there to receive it.
