If you do not have sufficient pages in your passport, you will not be able to get visas. Visas are required by many countries. A visa is an official government permission to enter, leave, and stay in a country. Visas are stamps or stickers put into your passport pages. You will need to add pages.

How to Add Pages to your U.S. Passport
If you are running out of pages in your passport, you will need to add pages quickly. You may add pages to your passport if you meet ALL of the following requirements:

Your passport is valid.
Your passport has at least six months left before expiring
Your passport has less than 2-4 blank visa pages remaining.

If your passport is damaged, lost, stolen, expired or almost expired, you cannot add pages. You will need to get a new replacement passport.
