How much are passports
As of April 2nd, 2018 Passport Fees have changed. Please note that the acceptance agent fee has increased to $35.
With prices of everything at an all time high, people are left to wonder, “How much is a passport these days?”
Well, here is some information that can answer that question and give you a better idea of the costs involved in getting all type of passports.
Government Fees:
New Adult Passport – $195
New Child Passport – $165
Passport Renewal (Expedited) – $170
Passport Renewal (Non-Expedited) – $110
Add Pages – $142
The above fees are paid to the US Government for the actual issuance of a US Passport Book. It is important these days, perhaps even more so than before, to be aware of the requirements and prices involved in getting a passport due to the increasing number of regulations put on international travel. For example, few people are aware that there is now a “six month rule” – in order to re-enter The United States after international travel, a person’s passport must have at least 6 months validity left on it. Without this knowledge, and without the knowledge of how to get a new passport fast, a person could find him/herself in quite a pickle! See Fastport Passport Prices
