Passport Photos – Everything You’ve Ever Wanted to Know!
Good afternoon everyone!
One of the most common questions we receive here at Fastport Passport is about passport photos- Where to get them taken, what specifications they must meet, what to do with them once they’re in your possession, and more.
Passport photos are easily accessible to anyone. To get your passport photos taken, you can go to Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, or any other store of that nature. You may also go to your local post office to get passport photos taken. Anyone applying for a new or renewed United States passport, including infants, will need to get new passport photos taken.
Passport photos should be exactly 2 inches by 2 inches, with the passport carrier’s face centered in the middle of a white background. You can see exact passport photo specifications at the website for the U.S. Department of State.
When you order your new or renewed passport from Fastport Passport online, one of the instructions that will come to your inbox will be to send to us two copies of your new passport photo along with your other needed supporting forms and documents. We will attach your passport photos to your passport application properly, and handle the process of renewing your passport or securing your new one!
If you have any further questions about your passport photos, please feel free to call us at any time from Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm, or visit our website to chat with any of our dedicated customer service representatives.
