Adult Passport (16 and older)
For Adults (16 years of age and older):
- New Adult Passport: $225 total (passport book: $190 & acceptance agent: $35)
- Renew Adult Passport: $190 (passport book)
- Lost / Stolen Replacement Passport: $225 total (passport book: $190 & acceptance agent: $35)
- Add Pages: No longer available. You will need to apply for a passport renewal if you need more pages.
- Name Change: $60
- Second Duplicate Passport: $225 total (passport book: $190 & acceptance agent: $35)
- Passport Card: $90
Passport Fees Explained
- PASSPORT BOOK: write your check or money order for exactly $190 payable to: “US Department of State.”
- PASSPORT BOOK AND PASSPORT CARD: write your check or money order for exactly $200 payable to “US Department of State.”
- Acceptance Agent Fee (Required for new passports, lost, stolen, & damaged passport replacements):
- An acceptance agent is needed to verify the signatures and identity of the applicant. This is usually the post office or county clerk. The $35 fee is paid at the acceptance agent.
- PASSPORT CARD: write your check or money order for exactly $90 payable to “US Department of State.”
- ADDITIONAL PAGES: This is no longer available. You must apply for an adult passport renewal if eligible or a new passport.
- It is recommended that you have the passport book. The passport card is ONLY valid for land and sea travel. You will need the passport book for travel by air.
- Please write your Name and Date of Birth on the Memo Line.
- The government does not accept credit card payment for these fees.
Minor Passport (15 and younger)
For Minors (15 years of age and younger):
- PASSPORT BOOK: write one check or money order for exactly $160 payable to: “US Department of State.”
- PASSPORT BOOK AND PASSPORT CARD: write one check or money order for exactly $175 payable to “US Department of State.”
- PASSPORT CARD: write one check or money order for exactly $75 payable to “US Department of State.”
- It is recommended that you have the passport book. The passport card is ONLY valid for land and sea travel. You will need the passport book for travel by air.
- Please write your Name and Date of Birth on the Memo Line.
- The government does not accept credit card payment for these fees.
