Examples of Proof of Confirmed Travel Plans
Confirmed travel plans are required for expediting your passport within 14 days (or 30 days if a visa is needed). If you’re not traveling within the next two weeks, you will need to visit your local post office or county clerk for routine passport processing. Proof of confirmed travel plans can be plane ticket confirmation, business letter, or employment letter from the business HR Department.

Plane Ticket or Flight Confirmation
You can submit a copy of your flight itinerary, plane ticket, plane e-ticket, or any other flight confirmation.
For Driving Plans (Mexico and Canada)
You can write a brief statement to the U.S. Department of State Philadelphia Passport Office. Please use the format below:
