A child’s passport cannot be renewed by mail — the process is the same as applying for a first-time passport. You’ll need to submit Form DS-11 in person with your child, along with both parents or legal guardians’ consent, the child’s existing passport, a new passport photo, proof of citizenship, and the required fees.
